Almost everyone is familiar with the Greek mythological story of Prometheus, who defied the gods of Olympus and gave fire to mortals. But if you had to be Prometheus yourself, would you dare? What would be your Promethean story?Three actors present their own interpretation of the myth to the audience, sharing Promethean stories of hopes and fears, admiration and shame, learning from mistakes and repeating them. Travelling through different historical periods, the creators search for the Prometheus in humans.
Maybe these are the ones who, even though they know that disobeying the existing order will lead to punishment, aredetermined to light a flame just for the sake of others’ chance to feel warm? It is to these human Prometheuses that this play isdedicated.
