Awards:

At the Dalia Tamulevičiūtė Professional Theatre Festival 2018, Nut Bread won four awards for the audience’s sympathy, best
director (directed by Aidas Giniotis), best supporting actor (actor Dalius Skamarakas) and best young actress (actor Aistė Šeštokaitė) awards.

The play, which is based on a short story, written by Saulius Šaltenis, tells a story about young boy from a small last century town, Andrius Šatas and his beloved Liuka. Their bright love story is obscured by disagreement between their parents – the Šatas and the Kaminskas families. At Keistuoliai Theatre, “Nut Bread” takes a breath of fresh air with the music of The Beatles and the footsteps of a childhood gone by.

This play is dedicated for young people living in a constantly changing, slightly cynical and pure love-denying environment, where sometimes you long for a moment to allow yourself to say “I am not alone!”.
