Donald Harold G. Bisset (1910-1955) was a well-known English writer, actor, TV presenter and cartoon scriptwriter. Legendary English writer who wrote more than forty books for children. His nonsense-style tales shimmer with all sorts of oddities and surprises, making readers laugh and wonder as the ingenious author portrays the ordinary world in a frivolous, “highbrow” way. His short and strange tales were revived in the first performances of the Theatre of Odd Fellows for children – “Next Time” and “Upside Down”. Everybody already knows the snail Olaf, the piglet who wanted to fly, the crow Albertina, the angry uncle, the grasshopper Sendis and many other characters, but there are still many strange fairy-tale inhabitants left in the book who would like to make friends with the children. So William the goose, Martha the ant, Tashke the cow will share their strange stories and adventures, while the beetle and the bulldozer, named Bach, will share their endurance.

With a team of young actors, the director will try to turn Bisset’s somewhat unexpected tales into a musical journey of unforgettable adventures for children and adults alike to embark on. After all, we all sometimes miss magic or songs, we all hide from strange fears or look for new friends. That’s how Willy the goose thought: “How nice it would be if someone said to me, “Beep beep!” Pigeons cooed, ducks quacked and crows cawed in the treetops. But no one, absolutely no one, told him: “Beep beep”.
